Counseling for Children and Their Families
Parents are an integral part of the counseling process. Therapists empower them with knowledge, insight, and understanding of their child’s problems along with effective parenting which addresses these concerns.
Our child therapist team includes several therapists who are licensed or provisionally licensed in counseling or clinical social work. All have a master’s degree along with many years of experience in child therapy.
Therapists are trained in evidence-based practices specifically designed for childhood mental health and behavioral issues. These include: Trauma-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Theraplay, Trust-Based Relational Therapy, and others. Therapists utilize activities the children enjoy and form trusting relationships with their clients and families.
