LaTanya is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) with a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education from East Carolina University. She has counseled elementary and pre-teen aged students for the past seven years. LaTanya has worked closely with students who are challenged with ADHD and has assisted in providing behavioral interventions for the classroom, as well as home settings.

LaTanya has worked a great deal in her home church with teen girls. She founded the Young Ladies of Virtue, which is a group for teen girls to discover who they are in Christ. She has also worked extensively with the women’s ministry in providing meaningful experiences for women of all ages.

LaTanya is dedicated to the process of self-discovery and emotional awareness. She uses a person/client centered approach as a method to meet needs that are specific to each individual client.
