Laura Ampleman is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri. She received her undergraduate degree in Education at the University of Missouri- St. Louis. She received her Graduate degree in Counseling at South Dakota State University and has over 15 year’s counseling experience. Laura is passionate about her work with children, adolescents, couples, and families. She believes that all individuals can reach their God-given potential when they are empowered with the tools to heal.
Laura is experienced in using a number of evidence-based practices, including:
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, Brain Wise, and Virtue-Based Restorative practices.

Laura has led social skills groups and groups for children of divorce. Laura has worked as a consultant to school staff by providing intervention strategies for behavior management. Laura has also trained teachers and staff in the identification and reporting of child abuse.
