After a 40-year hiatus, Dan returned to college and completed a Bachelor of Science in Ministry/Bible at Amridge University. He immediately began working toward an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy. Dan is on track to graduate in the Spring of 2026.

Dan has been married for nearly 44 years and has counseled couples as a facilitator with Prepare/Enrich for over 10 years. He will obtain his Professional Counseling License (LPC) from the State of Missouri upon completion of his program at Amridge. Dan has been in ministry since 2009 and spent 11 years serving as a prison minister. He desires to provide hope to cope with life and the issues that come along. Dan wants to share his passion for the Lord as he strives to serve others.

Dan uses a combination of modalities in therapy, including Systems Thinking and CBT, and he has begun the process of being certified in Choice Theory/Reality Therapy with the Glasser Institute.
