Licensed Professional Counselor Jobs

We currently have both remote and in person professional counselor jobs available. We are looking to partner with exceptional professional counselors to provide counseling services to a wide variety of clientele. Apply below to find out if this is a good fit for you!

Must be licensed as an LPC, PLPC, or LCSW to apply. 

Responsibilities of the Professional Counselor Job:

• Quality professional counseling services to clients — Currently, we have a wait list of over 90 clients waiting to be served! You choose which referrals to accept and how many.
• Subjects and clientele may include — individual sessions, family sessions, children or adolescents, couples counseling, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, substance use, trauma / PTSD, blended families, grief counseling, crisis counseling, etc. We currently offer both in person and remote (telehealth) sessions to our clients.
• Scheduling — you choose your hours and schedule your clients accordingly.
• Progress Notes — upkeep with electronic chart via online InSync EMR Software.
• Positive Atmosphere — we are looking for exceptional people who work and collaborate well with others and can contribute to a positive and supportive ethos!

• Administrative support — our excellent admin team provides phone answering services, new client intakes, customer service to clients, handles insurance benefits checks, insurance claims and self-pay billing services, assistance with paperwork and insurance credentialing, etc.
• Use of counseling office space — brand new fully furnished office with newly renovated rooms, with no additional rental fees 
• Online Provider Portal — easy to use, state of the art software for Progress Notes, HIPAA Compliant Communication with Clients, Scheduling, etc.

Supervision for Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) is also available.

Agape Christian Counseling Services is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to improve the accessibility of mental health services by providing affordable, professional Christian counseling for the St. Louis metro area and its surrounding counties. We accept most insurances and offer a sliding fee scale for those without insurance or mental health coverage.
