Alyssa is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Webster University. She believes counseling can provide a place where clients feel seen, heard, and cared for as they navigate difficult seasons of life. Alyssa strives to meet each client where they are with an open heart, compassion, and without judgment. She recognizes that reaching out for help can be difficult and desires to create a space where clients feel safe to be honest about their struggles. Her hope is that counseling can become a place of healing and growth where clients can find the support and hope they need to move forward.

Alyssa’s counseling approach is compassionate, collaborative, and centered on each client’s unique experiences and needs. She believes clients deserve both grace and honesty and seeks to walk alongside them with truth and love as they work through challenges and pursue meaningful change. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness-Based CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy to help clients examine thought patterns, develop healthy coping skills, explore identity and values, and grow in self-awareness.

Alyssa’s Christian faith is central to her life and informs her approach to counseling. She believes that Christ is our ultimate source of hope and desires to help clients explore how their faith and relationship with God intersect with the challenges they are facing. Alyssa hopes to offer clients a place where they feel seen, supported, and cared for as they pursue healing and find hope.
