Kamau (pronounced Kaa-MAA-uw) is a dedicated therapist-in-training with a background in Social Psychology, earning his bachelor’s degree from Park University in 2021. Originally from New York and Texas, he is now based in the St. Louis area, where he is completing his practicum and internships with an expected graduation in March 2026. He is also an active member of the American Counseling Association. With over 20 years of experience helping individuals achieve personal growth, Kamau is passionate about guiding people through life’s challenges—whether emotional, relational, or trauma-related. His therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, behavior analysis, and primarily focuses on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). He works with both individuals and groups.
